How does driving at the Nürburgring work
Friends, here is a step-by-step guide to booking and taking part in tourist drives on the Nürburgring Nordschleife race track.
To book a sports car for a Nürburgring trip
- When and on what: Choose your preferred date, sports car, and the number of laps.
- Submit request: Send us a request. We’ll provide an invoice for payment.
- Payment: Make the payment online or via bank transfer. Once processed, your sports car is booked.
Track Availability and Driving Limits
- On working days: Monday to Friday the race track is open for tourist drives from 5pm to 7:30pm. You can complete max 6–8 laps in this timeframe ( each lap takes 10–15 minutes ).
- On Weekends: The race track is open from 8am to 7pm. You can drive up to 20–25 laps, depending on track closures, breaks, and your endurance.
On the Day of Your Drive
- Office: Please, arrive at our office 1 hour before your scheduled time.
- Paperwork and Safety Briefing: Complete all rental documents and attend a safety briefing.
- Car Setup: Adjust the seat and steering wheel with your instructor’s help, buckle up, and get ready to drive. You can start.
Driving on the Nürburgring
- Instructor: Your instructor will be in the passenger seat, offering guidance based on years of experience.
- Speed and safety: You can drive fast, but always within reasonable limits — safety is the top priority.
- Take a break: If you need a break, you can exit the track and rest in the designated parking area.
After the Experience
- Back to the office: Once you’ve completed your laps, return to our office.
- Your deposit: If a security deposit was held on your credit card, visit our office to have it released.
- You did it: That’s it — your Nürburgring experience is complete!
