With a total of eight ten-races, NLS Endurance Championship is held exclusively on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
This competition has become one of the most popular among any generation of racers. Participant specification is not too strict, though: the championship greets all cars from low-power hatchbacks to supercars such as McLaren GT3 or Porsche GT3.
Standard race length ( NLS Nordschleife and GP sprint course) is 24.433 km. 6 stages run as a four-hour race each, another one runs as a six-hour race, and another one runs as a 12 hours race. One stage involves up to 170 racecars and more than 500 pilots. Each automobile is driven alternatively by groups of pilots, whose key task is to hold on as long as possible and demonstrate good lap time.

On September 27, Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen will take part in the ninth round of the NLS Nürburgring, one of the most demanding endurance races in the world. He will be behind the wheel of the #31 Ferrari 296 GT3, prepared by the Emil Frey Racing team. Known for its unforgiving twists, long straights, and unpredictable weather, the Nürburgring is a true test of skill and endurance — offering fans a rare chance to see Verstappen compete outside of Formula 1.
