What you need
To participate in any of the NLS races, you must possess an international C race license ( or D ) or a national license issued by your local Automobile Federation. If you are a permanent resident and citizen of another country, you will need to apply through your local Automobile Federation.
Alternatively, if you are in Germany, you have the option to obtain a German national grade A license by successfully completing theory and driving exams. The training and examination will be conducted at the Nürburgring Nordschleife track. For further information and specific details, please feel free to contact us via phone or email.
In addition to obtaining a race license, it is essential to gain experience driving a racing car on a race track. Our instructor-led on-site sessions are designed to help you practice and develop the necessary driving skills. At our Driving Academy, we are fully prepared to support you in your journey.
Driving on the Nordschleife requires self-control, patience, endurance, and a thirst for both knowledge and driving skills. It is more than just a race circuit; it is a legendary and challenging track with an 96-year-old reputation built on the triumphs, failures, and disappointments of the greatest racers. Known as the "Green Hell", it demands your respect and acceptance. The track always knows best, so it is important not to argue with it. Show respect for both the track and your competitors, and it will guide you towards excellence and even victories.
Start with small steps and practice regularly. Work closely with instructor to improve your lap times. Master the ideal lines, learn the braking and turn-in points around the track. Gain experience driving cars from different classes to diversify your training sessions. Expand your knowledge by reading relevant books. It will take time and patience, but with dedication, you will achieve great results. We are here to support you every step of the way.
